JOY OF MUSIC EVENT TO HONOR
JOHN STARR ALEXANDER
John Starr Alexander, from `Iolani School, will be honored by the Windward Choral Society at its bi-annual Joy of Music event, to be held on November 22, 2014, at the Ko`olau Ballrooms in Kāne‘ohe.
John will receive the John and Betsy McCreary Na Ke Akua Aloha Mele Award. This is a tribute honoring selfless, enriching, cultural excellence through the Joy of Music, dedicated to the people of Hawai’i and sharing this legacy of aloha with our islands, our nation and the world.
This “Joy of Music…International Style” event will feature a delicious dinner, silent auction, and multiple live entertainment groups performing throughout the evening, including a performance by the Windward Choral Society.
