Windward Choral Society welcomes the world renown high school choir, La Cañada Chamber Singers, from Flintridge, California. A free concert will take place Friday, February 12, at 7:00 PM at Kailua United Methodist Church. This concert is free to the public and no tickets are required.
La Cañada High School Chamber Singers is a co-ed, auditioned choir made up of 10th-12th graders at La Cañada High School. They are the winners of KUSC’s Local Vocals High School Choir Sing-off. Each year at their school, this group performs at the all-ensemble concerts and also presents two additional concerts. Members of the current choir have participated in two European tours performing in several cities in six countries, including the US Embassy in Bratislava, Slovakia, and at St. Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican.
