What do you do when the windward community embraces you and overflows every concert? First, you thank them and then you find a way to make sure everybody can get their dose of holiday cheer. The mission: room for everyone and plenty of parking. The solution: the Windward Choral Society invites you to join us for two special concerts at new and exciting venues.
December 6th at 3:00 pm, we’re thrilled to be taking center stage at Windward Mall in Kane’ohe. Take a break from shopping and let us lift your spirits (and your voices) in song.
December 13th at 4:00 pm is our grandest adventure yet and we hope that it becomes a tradition for us. We’re converting the bottom level of the Long’s parking garage in Kailua into our largest concert hall ever and invite you to bring a chair and be part of this truly special occasion.
If it’s the Windward Choral Society then there will always be music of the season from all over the world. There will be conga drums, a Chanukah composition in both Hebrew and English, a traditional carol from the Philippines and a choral suite from the hit Disney film “Frozen.” There will also be traditional carols and popular tunes that we hope you will add your voices to! Put on your best Mel Torme and and join in.
Our concerts are free and open to the public and will have something for everyone (even the keiki). And a special thank you to the Windward Mall and Alexander & Baldwin Kailua for supporting the arts on the windward side.
