EVENT:
The 110-voice Windward Choral Society presents “‘Tis the Season!,” the 6th annual holiday concert, featuring seasonal songs from around the world.
CONCERT #1 (new venue!): Friday, December 13, 2013 from 7:00-8:30 PM
WHERE: St. Anthony of Padua Church, Kailua
CONCERT #2: Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 7:00-8:30 PM
WHERE: Windward United Church of Christ (across from ‘Aikahi Shopping Center)
COST:
Parking and concert are FREE and no tickets are required.
A freewill offering will be taken to offset the costs associated with the performance.
HIGHLIGHTS:
This concert will include a set of very traditional Christmas carol as well as music from around the globe, including songs from Hawai‘i, Canada, Puerto Rico, Spain, Sweden, a song for the new year in Hebrew and, for the first time in Hawai‘i, an arrangement of Appalachian Christmas carols featuring Los Angeles resident Patti Amelotte on the Hammered Dulcimer! To top it off, the audience will get to join in and sing along to a few familiar holiday tunes, too!
