Just a quick note because I got a quick note from Heather Spencer at Mission Positive Films in Kaneohe. She’s an independent filmmaker whose award-winning project/passion/mission, “C – A Celebration of Life“, is going to be shown on OC16 on Sunday September 6th at 7:00pm (with no commercials…sweet). The scoop:

“Meet 12 cancer survivors who have been through the battle, and come out on the other side stronger, happier, and with a greater zest for life. Hear the stories of how they won the fight of their lives, see the treatments that helped them do it, and find out how the experience forever changed them. Their message to you: Follow Your Dreams and Celebrate Each Day.”

Several members of the Windward Choral Society contributed to this project in different ways and chances are that you’ll know some of the survivors from right here in Kailua. The Blogmeister gives it 4 stars; saw it, was moved by it, shed a tear, loved it. Set the DVR.
