JOY OF MUSIC…AROUND THE WORLD, a gala fundraising event for Windward Choral Society (WCS), was held on November 24, at the Ko‘olau Ballrooms. Three hundred attendees enjoyed an international dinner, silent auction, and multicultural entertainment in its ten different musical acts including Mariachi Singer and Guitarist, Caribbean/African Folk Conga Singer, Hawaiian music duo, New Orleans Jazz Group, Kenny Endo Taiko Drummers of the Pacific, Ka‘anohiwaiānuenue Hula Studio, Kainalu Elementary School Chorus, Hawai‘i Pacific University String Quartet, Celtic Bagpiper and dancer, and Windward Choral Society chorus.

The fun-filled evening of music and song from around the globe raised funds for future programs of WCS, purchase of needed equipment, and ongoing operational costs for the chorus to continue to provide free concerts to windward O‘ahu and beyond. WCS thanks all of its attendees and donors who made this event a huge success.
